The Start of a Major Home Renovation Project! (Part One)

To begin our renovations, we had all the doors and trim (including the stair banister) sanded and painted.  It needed it so badly!!  Everything was pretty scuffed up and dirty.  I went through and cleaned all the doors and trim first, because they were really really dusty and dirty.  I didn't want them to paint over dust.  Now it looks absolutely beautiful!  They took the doors down to paint, so I exchanged all my ugly brass door knobs and hinges out for oil-rubbed bronze.  I have always wanted to do this and was thrilled to have the chance to have someone ELSE to all changing out!!  It was so worth it!  It looks stunning!!! :)
