The Great Barrier Reef...AMAZING!!

Today we had the amazing opportunity to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World!  We took a bus that consisted mainly of Jones families and headed for the coast.  Once there, we boarded a ferry boat that took us to a platform structure where we spent the entire day!  We had such a great time!!

When we first got to the platform, we took a glass bottom submarine to see the flora and fauna of the reef... these pictures don't do it justice!!

Here's where Bill dropped his cell phone in the water... Yeah, cell phones don't like water and they can't swim very well!  You can see here in the picture how big the fish are... and they would come right up to you!  They weren't afraid of you at all!  It's so fun to be up close and personal with nature!
