Day 5-- Seoul, Korea
4.03.2026

Another really fun day! We started out in the morning visiting the Seoul, Korea temple. We walked around the grounds and found their clothing and distribution center, but it wasn't open yet. Afterward we went to an all you can eat Pizza joint where everything is served buffet style and they have an assortment of pizzas, side dishes and desserts. Todd used to go there on his mission every transfer when he would attend the temple. The pizza was actually really good! They like sweeter tomato sauces and had really interesting flavors-- some with potatoes on them! My favorite was the gorgonzola cheese and almond one! The sides were all yummy too! After that, we headed off to one of Todd's favorite areas on the outskirts of Seoul called Goyang. It felt more calm even though it was still city! We walked around the markets and stores and got boba drinks and then walked to the lake which was kind of central in the city. I can see why Todd liked this area so much. There was a calmer more peaceful feeling and the lake was so beautiful! We just sat and enjoyed watching the little kids play and walked around a bit and took some pictures. It took a couple bus transfers to get there and the way back took longer due to traffic. We went to a little swankier Korean BBQ restaurant for our last dinner in Korea! It was really good, but I think I like the first night BBQ better! It was still really good! We went to the night market afterward and walked around-- found another LDS family that was there... the BYU hat tipped us off-- hahaha! It's a small world! It was a fun day... Tomorrow we leave for Tokyo, Japan!
