Today is Christmas Eve—Brooke and I made 2 batches of fudge! Everyone brought food for Christmas dinner and Bill did tri tip, which tasted so good! Katelyn made homemade rolls. We had a really nice dinner and evening together and Kaden was able to come and be a part of it too! We practiced a few songs really quickly and went caroling to some neighbors—first to the Livingstone’s (they always get 2 boxes of fudge but since the Moore’s are out of town, they got 3 boxes!) We had a nice visit with them and laughed and had a good time. Then we went across the street to Bethanie and Todd and caroled to them—they LOVED it! They said we sounded like a choir! It was definitely fun to have more male voices for sure! We had a nice visit with them (and gave them a box of fudge, too) and then headed back to the house where we opened a couple gifts that night. First the “bro box” for all the guys and the “sistas stash” for all the girls. The guys got golf shirts and the boys got cute little golf outfits and tickets for 9 holes and breakfast on Saturday. The girls got slippers and and a gift card to go get our nails done and do lunch on Saturday. Kaden had to get back to his family so he left and then we talked about/read the Luke story and shared our feelings about how the Savior has shown up for us this year. We went around the room and each shared something. I loved doing this and it was so spiritual and neat to hear what everyone said. Then the boys put cookies and milk out for Santa and carrots for his reindeer and then we put them to bed! We stayed up and played some fun games and then headed to bed!
