K & K @ the Lake!

Katelyn and Kaden came in last night... Kaden went to the airport to pick her up (he got here on Tuesday--his family lives is Surprise) and we all met here--literally! We all got to meet Kaden for the first time... Megan and Todd and the boys were already here. We headed to Pei Wei's for dinner and had a nice visit. We came home and played Rook...Kaden knows how! Kaden came over and we headed to the lake EARLY this morning! We wanted to get there early due to it being a Saturday and a holiday weekend. We got to the lake around 8am and launched pretty quickly, but there were a lot of boats lined up! It was super crazy, even that early—there were so many boats on the water already! It was pretty crowded—especially the boat ramp coming and going! Katelyn and Kaden both got to surf for quite a while and then we went and picked up Todd and Megan and the boys at the dock around 9am. It ended up being a really fun morning—we came off the lake around noon because it was just getting so choppy and busy. K & K had fun trying to surf together... Katelyn wanted to get on his shoulders and after MANY tries they were successful! I can't believe how hard Kaden had to hold on-- it was sheer determination and a lot of strength do do that! It was a fun day!!!
