A Happy Mother's Day!

Today was such a nice day! I received so many texts from loved ones and I also got to Facetime with Katelyn and I had such a sweet talk with her! Man I love being a mom! Brooke texted me early this morning and a text from Ben came in the evening-- both were so kind and loving! Bill also sent me a sweet text, as well! He made this yummy plate for me after church today...and I got to take a LONG nap! Then we went over to Megan and Todd's house and Bill cooked such a good stir fry and we had berries and cream for dessert! Megan gave me several children's books-- one from Luke, one from Logan and one from her-- all with special notes from each of them inside the cover!  I read all three of them to Luke before bed tonight and they are such cute little stories about Grandmas!  (One of them is entitled, "How to Babysit a Grandma".)  McKenzie gave me a candle and some bath bombs a couple of days ago-- in a bag on my counter!  All four of my daughters showed love to me and others today!  (McKenzie went and sat with some children in Sacrament Mtg. today while the mom went out with a couple of crying little ones-- she just hopped right up and went over without even thinking about it.  This made me so happy to see her not even hesitate to give service!)  It was such a lovely day. I am so grateful for the opportunities I've had as a mother and to BE a mother! I love each one of my girls SO MUCH! I can't even imagine what my life would've looked like without each of them! Now I'm a grandma and I love those 2 little boys so much! They are the light of my life and bring me so much JOY! It is so fun to watch Megan be a mom now and to watch and love all the stages that they are in. Words can't express how grateful I am for the Plan of Salvation and for the knowledge I have of eternal families... that we can all return to our Father in Heaven and live together eternally!
