Utah for Brooke's Birthday!!!

It has been so much fun to be in Utah for Brooke's birthday! It was a last minute idea and even though it is a quick trip, it has been so fun!! We started the celebrations this morning with a birthday brunch at Edna's restaurant in Lehi. Then Brooke really wanted to go get Swig drinks and then go to the carwash-- which was actually so much fun!! Katelyn had to then study for finals, but Brooke, her roommate Allyson and I went to the Draper temple to do sealings. When we got there, there wasn't any availability to do sealings, so they told us to come back in 1 1/2 hours. As we were walking out, a temple worker asked us if we wanted to do initiatories while we waited, so we decided to do that! The temple seemed to be really busy that day! We enjoyed doing BOTH initiatories AND sealings! We enjoyed the beautiful temple grounds afterward and took several pictures with the gorgeous flowers and blooming trees! Ben came over later (I'd already met him the night before!) and took Brooke out on a birthday date! Katelyn was finished studying, so we decided to watch a movie together. It was fun to be able to spend time with both of my girls today!! Ben brought Brooke flowers and Dove chocolates and they went to an art display of stained glass at UVU and then back to his apt. for a movie and Ben made her dinner. Katelyn and I headed to bed around 11pm because we needed sleep for our 10K the next day! Happy 25th birthday Brookie!!!  It has been such a fun day celebrating with you!!
