Girls' Day Hiking...

This morning I went hiking with Jamie and a bunch of other women in our ward, or that used to be in our ward… Karolyn Corey and Gizelle Glazier, who are in the other ward now (Liberty) and also with Donna Hanchett, Shirlyn Cox and Erica Brenay. It was a fun group… we went pretty far away east of I-17 and north of Happy Valley in the mountains there but it was a gorgeous day and the hike was beautiful—steep and rocky but beautiful! There were great views and we could see the temple and other prominent buildings in the valley! It was the first day that was cooler… it has been so hot. The heat has just held on this year!! It was fun to talk with all these fun women as we hiked and have a little social time as well as a little physical exercise time! I am out of shape with hiking and felt a little sore that day… Jamie is so fun-- I always enjoy going places with her. (She and I rode there together.)
