Arcadia HS Class of '84 Reunion...

I went with Allison to her 40th high school reunion this weekend. We've been staying with Robin and having such a fun time! The first activity was dinner at Taco Lita! It felt like no time had passed! It looks EXACTLY the same as it did in the 80's and brought so many nostalgic feelings! Robin went with us, as well. I met quite a few people that graduated with Allison but the most fun to see was Cindy Zoltan! We had fun catching up a bit... Then we went to the game where Arcadia played Glendale HS. We won like 40-0 and I got so bored! It was great that they won, but got old sitting there. We left right before it ended. The band was fun to watch and they had a nice field show. They always sound so good, too! They have different uniforms for their field show than for marching the street, so that was interesting. After the game, Robin went home and Allison and I went to a brewery where the party continued. We got root beers and talked to a lot of people I don't know, BUT we saw Paula Teague who was our neighbor on Naomi growing up. I played with her younger sister Norma, but lost touch with her in later Elementary School. So crazy!! Paula was a bit tipsy, so I'm not sure she'll even remember we talked to her, but she still looks the same-- just an older version! We drove back to Robin's house and got their in 25 minutes because there was no traffic at 11pm! We played Shanghai Rummy and Robin won... then we went to bed. (Allison won on Thursday night when we played...) The campus has changed so much and the stadium has been completely redone with new seats and tunnels that lead into it from the back. It was nice especially for a high school... crazy how so much has changed but yet it's still the same!
