Halloween Trick or Treating and Party!

We had such a fun night tonight! First I went over to Megan and Todd's house and we went trick or treating in their neighborhood, and then we had a party here at our house with families in our neighborhood and others that came... it was so much fun! (Kinda fun to continue the tradition of a front yard Halloween party!) I plan to do this every year so we can get to know everyone better. I told everyone to invite other people to come, as well, so people know anyone can come! Luke and Logan looked so cute in their dragon and stegosaurus costumes! Luke was so excited to go this year and really understood and got into the whole trick or treating thing! Those that came to the party were Proudfits, Fullers, Critchfields, Livingstones, Glenns, Moores, Krupps, Megan and Todd and the boys and Allison. The Smiths down the street came right at the end. I think we had a great turn out for our first time!

 

Girls' Day Hiking...

This morning I went hiking with Jamie and a bunch of other women in our ward, or that used to be in our ward… Karolyn Corey and Gizelle Glazier, who are in the other ward now (Liberty) and also with Donna Hanchett, Shirlyn Cox and Erica Brenay. It was a fun group… we went pretty far away east of I-17 and north of Happy Valley in the mountains there but it was a gorgeous day and the hike was beautiful—steep and rocky but beautiful! There were great views and we could see the temple and other prominent buildings in the valley! It was the first day that was cooler… it has been so hot. The heat has just held on this year!! It was fun to talk with all these fun women as we hiked and have a little social time as well as a little physical exercise time! I am out of shape with hiking and felt a little sore that day… Jamie is so fun-- I always enjoy going places with her. (She and I rode there together.)

A Boy & His Burger!

Megan has to buy this kid his own burger now-- he eats the WHOLE thing! They went to In-N-Out (the new one that opened around the corner from us) and he loved it! I also love that he is reppin' the Y!! Good day to wear a BYU t-shirt because we beat UCF and are now 8-0! We should have a top 10 ranking this week-- we'll see...

 

Fall Festivities!!

Brooke and Nick FINALLY got to go to Corn Belly's Fall Festival and we had our Ward Trunk or Treat that a very cute dragon and dinosaur came to!! Luke was so proud of his dragon costume and so READY to trick or treat! This is really the first year he has gotten into it! Soooo cute! Logan looked so cute in his Triceratops costume-- except he was really fussy because he was hot in it. We are still in the mid 90's and it was warm tonight! It was weird with the ward split and seeing new people at the activity and some of the old people came as well. Some I couldn't tell who they were-- new or old, because they were dressed up! It was fun though! I wasn't finished getting to know the people who are going to different wards, but lots of cool new people are in our ward now, like the Brooksby's and I met the Krupp's tonight, as well! Lots of changes and crazy going on right now!!!

Happy Little 7 Month Old & Cute Mamma!

These are the cutest most photogenic pictures of Logan I've seen yet-- and that's saying something, because he has taken some CUTE pictures!!! He's just a happy, joyful little guy! I love him! And then there's these cute pictures that Megan took on Sunday with her cute boys together... she is such a good mom to these boys and I love to see her parent them and teach them. This is the BEST!!!!

Megan's Spooky Ghoul Friend Party!

Megan sent me these pictures from her girl's night party-- for her turn she did a Halloween party. I think it's fun that she has this group to do fun things with once a week!

 

Sunday Fun...

Brooke sent us this picture today... Nick went to her ward. They are spending A LOT of time together! Cute picture!!! We traveled home EARLY this morning-- me by plane and Bill by car to bring the Fusion home to sell...

 

BYU V. Oklahoma State in Provo!

The game was unbelievably cold and we were bundled up! It was a crazy! We scored, then they scored and that went on the whole game! Interceptions killed us, but we ended up winning in the last minute of the game! We had to score a touch down or we would’ve lost. I thought for sure BYU was going to lose, but we SCORED!! We ended up winning 38-35. The stadium was on FIRE!! I’ve never seen anything like it before—it was so loud! The fans are LOVING BYU Football and going crazy this season. I told Bill about 10 minutes into the game—the team to have possession last is going to win, just because of how crazy it was, and sure enough, that’s exactly what happened. I wish we’d been ahead with a much larger disparity in the score, but BYU ended up pulling it off and we are now 7-0 for our season record! Unbelievable! We enjoyed the atmosphere a bit and then headed for our car to thaw out!  We didn’t get back to the hotel until about 1:30am!

 

Utah & the Saratoga Springs Temple with Brooke!!!

We are in town for a long weekend to see the BYU v. Oklahoma State game and are staying in Lehi... Brooke picked us up from the airport this afternoon and we headed to the temple... We got there too late to do an endowment session (our flight was delayed), so we all did Initiatories instead. It is COLD and very WINDY up here!! Just last week the weather was still nice and in the upper 70's! We sure do know how to pick our trips to Utah! Hahahaha!!!
