Jump Wall and Grading Progress...

We are FINALLY able to go ahead with the final phase of our backyard landscaping after a huge, long, unbelievable delay with our own engineer (idiot!) and the city!! (Adding up to over 6 weeks of WAITING for those 2 entities to get their acts together.) We are now a "go" and the landscapers worked on the jump wall and grading the yard and putting back the dirt into that huge retention area the city made us dig that water NEVER drained into! (No! It drained the way it has ALWAYS drained... toward the wash at the sloping end of our property!! I just can't believe all the stupid, costly hoops we've had to jump through to get our house and yard built! The city made A LOT of money on us! I'll just leave it at that!!) For a backyard that was supposed to be completed in January, then March (Spring Break), then Memorial Day... I am crossing my fingers that we'll be swimming for the 4th of July!! Hope does spring eternal...
