Logan's Blessing Day Cinco de Mayo Style!

Well it was a beautiful family day today!!! The weather was beautiful—lows 80’s with a breeze—couldn’t ask for better! Todd gave Logan a beautiful blessing. I had Luke on my lap and he was VERY busy and noisy (he went through my snacks pretty fast!), so I didn’t hear it all, but I did hear most of it. There are so many people in Megan’s ward that we know from Rose Valley ward. I got to see Julie Darrow, Norma Wilson and Chelsea Carlini (Hadden). They all came up to me before church and gave me big hugs. It was so fun to talk to them!! After Sacrament Mtg., I got to visit with Jenny and Adam Carlini—they were visiting Chelsea and are in town. They moved away so it was so fun to see them again. We went to Megan and Todd’s after and she had her house all decorated for Cinco de Mayo for the luncheon. Bill cooked his carne asada and all the food tasted SO good! My lemonade was a hit and everything just hit the spot. We enjoyed a nice afternoon visiting and just being together. Jim and Susan left to go home pretty early in the afternoon and Allison left a little later. Shelby and Brent are always so good to support our family events, too.  They fought a lot of traffic to get here. I'm glad we could at least feed them lunch!  They left right after. It was nice to just RELAX!! What fun circumstances to celebrate today. Logan is our little sweetie and we love him so much! I am grateful that families are forever!!
