So I'm in Augusta, Georgia!!!! My new comp is Sister McCullough and she's awesome! Missions are so crazy the way you move around so much but I love it here already with all the very rich, cute Georgia peaches haha! I'm so sorry these emails are so scattered. Y'all soooo much happens in a week. I can't fit it all especially on transfers!!
Seeds of Faith
Ivan is getting baptized and I get to go back to Charleston to see him!!! I'm so excited to see him and Kanoo and a lot of our friends again:))) But coming to Georgia has been a bitter sweet experience and it was rough the first few days to trust God that He wanted me to be here. Thennnn my awesome comp showed me this talk by Hyrum Smith called "The Belief Window". Kinda old but it was still so good. It talked about how our beliefs affect our behavior and how if the results of that behavior are not meeting our needs (love, importance, living, etc.), then we need to change our belief windows! That is repentance! Changing our beliefs to be more in line with God's will ultimately changes our behaviors to meet our needs and better us to have joy and help others have joy! It changed my perspectives on repentance and on change!
*INVITATION*
Prayerfully analyze your belief windows this week and begin to change things that are not helping you meet your own and others needs! God and His Son Jesus Christ are there for each of us and can be exactly what we need as we learn to access Their love and light more fully as we change the lenses we look through!
Pockets of Fun
-For our last district pday we went to an escape room and Cyprus Gardens which was so fun. We surprisingly made it out in time haha. I also got my head stuck in one of those picture boards that you take pictures with your face in the holes bahaha!
-I also dyed my hair on pday as another last hurrah in Charleston!
-We threw Hermana Denmark a happy death day party because she was going home:')
-The night before transfers I accidentally broke one of the lights in the Nexton apartment with one of my mugs idk just holy moly. It was so funny but so embarrassing at the same time. Sorry Kanooooo bahaha!
-Said goodbye to soooo many awesome members and friends. I love them so so sooo much!
-We had dinner with the Martin family on Sunday. It was soooo FUN. They ate a ghost pepper before and now we've been joking that I'll try one so we'll see where that goes ahhh. For one of our friends' birthdays they also are gonna make chunky monkey pancakes??? No idea what those are but excited bahaha...

-First Sundays in new area's are always crazy but fun haha. This ward is gonna be the most interesting I've ever served in. I feel like I'm in a soap opera and the RS lesson was on charity so that escalated things even more between members so funny. They are also great people too--I already love them.
Gratitude
-Growth through change.
-GEORGIA! It's so different here idk how to explain it but it seems even more Southern if that makes sense haha...
-Technology allowing us to communicate with so many people. I'm sooo grateful that I can talk to my fam every week--they are the bestttt!
-First meetings with strangers that become memories with good friends:)
