Another short email but sooooo many cool experiences and miracles this week! The biggest one has to be that our friend Jason came to church and we went to his house that night and he was completely changed! His whole countenance was more happy and hopeful. He said that someone couldn't wipe the smile off his face if they tried! This is coming from a man who is usually very quiet and nervous and weighed down by the world! Wow wow we are literally seeing the Atonement of Jesus Christ work in this man! He had just gotten out of jail when we found him and was struggling with staying out of the things that got him there in the first place! Now he is talking about making a difference and combating the drugs and things that kept him down and kept others down with his experiences overcoming them! He really wants to make a change in the lives of everyone around him and he has a new fire in him! We taught the Plan of Salvation and he loved all of it and the eternal perspective of joy that it brings really made sense to him. This guy is just amazing and is a living testimony that no one can EVER SINK LOWER THAN THE DEPTHS OF JESUS CHRIST AND HIS ATONEMENT! Please please please keep him in your prayers as he knows the journey from here will not be easy but will be WORTH IT. Dagum missions are so so awesome. The people you would have never met otherwise become so important to you and you love them so so much and can watch the change this gospel truly makes! Can't believe how much my own testimony has grown and changed as I have been here! As rePRESENTatives of Jesus Christ we need to have Him PRESENT at all times. His name is on my badge but hopefully He is written on all of our HEARTS. So let Him be present in your life and the lives of everyone you are around!
Title Explanation: We saw a Farris wheel at the fair and I thought of the AMAZING movie CHARLY!! If y'all haven't seen it go watch it right this instant. In the movie the couple rides a Farris wheel their first time meeting each other and it's the theme throughout the whole movie. I thought it was cute how life for all of us is a Farris wheel! And it doesn't stop after we die! We get eternity with our loved ones and that is so so soooo special to me! "We want (and get) to ride this Farris wheel for a long long time" :)
