All Stem Walls Are Set!

All of the stem walls are set and ready for inspection on Monday... hopefully we will pass this inspection and they will pour the stem walls on Tuesday May 24th. I'm crossing my fingers because we are missing a report that the city wants (it's completely not necessary according to Terry, but Peoria requires it) in order to pass the inspection. Terry is hoping that they will accept it emailed late to them and that they will ok going ahead with the pour on Tuesday. I'm not holding my breath. Peoria has been extremely difficult at every step of this build-- it has been ridiculous. Terry says they pride themselves in being this way, as well. The guy that was supposed to provide the report had a family emergency... hopefully this won't hold us up. This is the game we are playing right now and this is how it will be for the next year with this build. It's how it usually goes, but especially now with the building climate right now. Leave it to us to build at THE most crazy time!! Below you can see Brooke off in the distance at the NW corner of the house in the first picture!  She went out there with me today!
