Luke's First Bath!

Each day this week, I tried to be as much help to Megan and Todd as possible. I kept dishes done, and laundry loaded and meals prepped. Todd also wanted to help with all of this too, and was off work. We went on several walks and enjoyed the sunshine. Luke had pretty bad jaundice, so they took him into the Dr. on Tuesday to have him checked. His numbers were high but not high enough to go to the hospital. They checked him again Wednesday and they had gone down. I’m sure that’s what the Dr. wanted to see, but we were still worried. We tried to get him as much sunlight as possible (see pictures below) and Todd even laid him in the sun with all his clothes off by the window to help. He is looking much better now and things have run their course now that he is eating and eliminating a lot more. I know Megan and Todd were really worried about him. He is such a sweet boy with such a calm disposition! He is so fun to hold and cuddle!

Today was his FIRST bath!  He mostly loved it...I mean he didn't hate it!  He only cried when the washcloth wasn't on his belly!  He smelled so good afterward and spent some time in the sun with Tucker.  Tucker is starting to accept Luke and is actually protective of him!  It's so cute... but he still doesn't like all the attention Luke is getting!  Soon they will be fast friends!
