Edward Jones Christmas Party and Allison's MCO Concert-- "I Played My Best For Him"

We picked up Megan and Todd for what became a crazy night! (For Megan and the baby!) We left a bit early to make it to the Edward Jones Christmas party and dinner early. We wanted to go and support the party but also had Allison’s choir performance out at the Mesa Arts Center at 8pm too! The party was nice, but we hardly knew anyone, as our Region just split this Fall. We had to rush away by 7 to make it in time for the performance.

We got there around 7:40 and Megan dropped us off and parked with the baby (babies aren’t allowed in the theater). She needed to feed him. Then about ¾’s of the way through the concert, she and Bill switched places and she got to see the end of the concert. It was a beautiful concert and I so enjoyed it! I actually cried through several of the songs starting with the very first one. They were all so beautiful and moving! Shelby and Robin were there, but their tickets weren’t by us. We met outside afterward with Allison and got a picture with her and visited about how wonderful the concert was for a while. Allison had to go and we decided to go get ice cream at 10:30 at night! Crazy! (with a hungry baby too…) We went to a little place called Novel Ice Cream. It was pretty good! We all got ice cream that turned out teeth BLUE!  Hahaha!  We visited out in the cold for a bit and then said goodbye to Robin and Shelby. Megan needed to nurse the baby before we left so she did that in the car where we all warmed up! We didn’t get home and in bed until 12:30am!  It was a long but fun evening together!
