Katelyn's Sweet 16 Birthday!!!!

We had a super fun day today!  Katelyn and I got up and went running this morning at the BYU Smith Field house where it was warm!  It was  her first day back at running... She felt really good but realized how out of shape she is!  The BYU Track team was there training as well... we saw the sprinters and long jumpers!  After lunch and getting cleaned up, we went over to the Wilkinson Center and went shopping!  Katelyn found a really cute long dress I bought for her.  We poked around there for a bit and then bought BYU Creamery ice cream for Katelyn's birthday cake later on.  We went shopping at the Down East after we got groceries at Wal-Mart and found another cute dress for Katelyn.  We then went BACK to the Wilk for Katelyn to get a haircut and we met up with Brooke!  After, we went to Megan's house where we met back up with everyone to go out to a birthday dinner!  Megan curled Brooke, Katelyn and my hair!  We went to dinner at a Tepanyaki Restaurant over by the Mall.  It was really good and we were all so full!  (We ordered sushi and tempura as well!)  After we went back to Megan and Todd's (Party Central-- hahaha!) where Katelyn opened her gift.  It was a FitBit she'd asked for a while back.  She either wanted a FitBit or Air Pods, but the Air Pods were all sold out, so I got her the FitBit and if she didn't end up wanting it, I could always order the Air Pods later.  She was really excited about the FitBit, but I think she wants to get the Air Pods after all!  We sang Happy Birthday to her and had yummy Angel Food cake and ice cream.  We put a $20 bill in the cake because Katelyn was being funny about putting money in the cake this year.  After getting the $20, I think she was ok with having money in the cake!!!  After, we watched Shark Tank-- a show that Todd likes and now he's got us all hooked on it!  Later, I took Brooke and Katelyn back to the dorm-- Katelyn is going to stay overnight with Brooke and go to her classes with her tomorrow.  (Her roommate CC wasn't there and was ok with Katelyn being there.)  I think Katelyn was excited to see what the dorm life was all about!  Brooke has been learning the Ukulele and was excited to show us what she's been learning... she's actually pretty good!  Well I think Katelyn had a really fun 16th Birthday!!!!!!!
