Harrison's Farewell in Herriman...

Morning came early as we woke up at 6:30 to get ready for Harrison's farewell up in Herriman.  We picked up Brooke and then Megan and Todd and enjoyed a nice drive to Herriman.  It was a gorgeous sunny day!  Harrison gave a really sincere and heartfelt talk about the period of time that he had drifted away from the church and the process of finding his way back.  Tracy invited us all over to her house afterward for lunch.  It was so nice to visit with the Redfords and enjoy catching up with all of them.  Everyone was there except Chelsea and her family.  Brooke and Todd and then Katelyn all got in a snow ball fight with some leftover snow that hadn't melted yet on the side of Tracy's house.  We actually got some good pictures of the snow ball Brooke threw at Todd in the pictures below...Dad caught the shot with it exactly over Todd's head about to hit him...then a big fight erupted after that and everybody was in the crossfire!  The Redford's probably thought we were crazy!  We headed back to Provo after getting some family pictures with everyone.  We spent the rest of the day at Megan and Todd's house.  Megan cooked a yummy dinner of corned beef and cabbage because it was St. Patrick's day.  Tanner came over for dinner and spent the rest of the evening with us.  We watched Tanner, Todd, McKenzie and Katelyn play Star Wars Trivial Pursuit together-- Mac won, of course!  We played Shanghai Rummy and Megan made some really good gluten free/sugar free/carb free cookies.  We enjoyed a really nice Sabbath Day all together as a family!  We even studied Come Follow Me together too!  It was fun to have everyone commenting and giving their insights into the scriptures!
