President Nelson and President Oaks Devotional!!!!!

It was such an amazing experience being able to attend this devotional with President Nelson!  Bill asked Dr. Ortiz if he'd like to attend and he said YES, so he also went with us!  I think he really enjoyed it!  Bill is going to ask him tomorrow if he'd like to know more about the church.  It was such an indescribable feeling as President Nelson walked in!  I got emotional, as I know that he is a prophet of God!  Kristen Oakes, President Oaks, Wendy Nelson and President Nelson all spoke to us.  I especially loved both Sister Nelson and President Nelson's talks!  Sister Nelson was very candid about her experiences as the prophets wife over the last 13 months and shared some very personal feelings and experiences!  President Nelson talked about the Abrahamic Covenant, what that means and all the blessings that are ours, as we keep our own covenants.  He also talked about the Gathering of Israel and the Book of Mormon's role in it.  He said there would be no gathering without that book!  I hung on every word and could've listened to him for several more hours! I didn't want it to end and was sad when he left the room.  The Spirit was palpable in the room, even though it was in a huge football stadium!  I'm so glad that we all got to have this experience tonight and the blessing of hearing a prophet of the Lord IN PERSON!!
