Trek Shake Down

It was a busy morning as we had the Stake Trek Shake Down for the youth and this is also the day that we had to turn in ALL of our equipment as Emmas and Abbas!  It was a gargantuan task rounding up all of our gear and getting it to the church this morning. We've slowly been gathering it over the last several months, but this last week we spent a lot of time completing the check list of all that was required of us... they also added a lot of gear to be prepared for the fire alerts and dry conditions that we will experience up in Flagstaff.   We also checked the bags of the youth going on the Trek to make sure they have everything they should, and nothing they shouldn't.  We still don't know who's in our family though.  It was a long morning... another Emma/Abba dance practice afterward!  (I ended up shaking down one of the members of my tribe-- Charity Finell! Of course I didn't realize this until she was called as a member of our tribe that first day...)
