The Cliffs of Moher!

Today was drizzly, windy and cold on our excursion to the Cliffs of Moher!  It was another FANTASTIC day!  We got ready and ate breakfast in a luxuriously decorated hall and headed for the Cliffs at 9:00.  We drove a very scenic route (green) and made it there in an hour.  The weather held for about an hour while we roamed around and got pictures and then it started to rain and become windy.  That's when I headed for the visitors' center where everyone eventually met up.  We poked around there and in the gift shop until the busses left.  We headed for the beach town of Lahinch for lunch and ate at O'Looney's.  (I had the Fish and Chips.)  Our table overlooked the beach and we watched the surfers and children learning to surf while we ate!  We poked around the shops in the wind and rain and it was pretty cold with it coming off the beach!  McKenzie found a bookstore!  It was fun!  Katelyn FINALLY found her hat that she's been looking for and wanting to buy.  It looks CUTE on her!  We came back to the hotel and took naps and are about to head out to the town of Ennis to get something light to eat for dinner.  We're thinking about just going to the grocery store and getting stuff there and for lunch tomorrow as well.

We just got back from Ennis.  We had fun in their department store/grocery store poking around.  I found a really cute/warm (lined) rain jacket.  Brooke found a night gown (of all things) for 5 euros!  We ended up using all our time shopping, so we had to get fast food (which wasn't fast at all) in order to make the 9:30 shuttle back to the hotel.  We had a super fun night just exploring and doing our own thing!  It was a really fun, damp day!!  We played Shanghai Rummy until LATE!  I lost...
