Cooking Club Valentines's Day Open House

It was fun to put this Valentine's Day Open House together with our old cooking group ladies:  Ruth Pagan, Kristen Maskovich, Recia Greenwood, Camille Hart and Micole Hinton.  In the past we've done a couples dinner, but this year we decided to invite our whole ward (and some from Apache Park ward) and have a nice gourmet buffet.  It was quite a bit of work-- especially getting my house deep cleaned with all the dust from our dry wall construction, etc.  (I had to dust all my silk plants and things above the cabinets in my kitchen.)  Then the shopping and the prepping proved to be time-consuming as well, but so worth the final product.  Everybody worked just as hard and we came up with a beautiful spread!  It was so much fun!  It was also great to sit and eat and visit with people in the ward!  We had about 70 people come and everybody had a great time!  Most stayed and enjoyed the entire evening.  I'm glad we did it!

I was also in charge of the fondue and chocolate fountain... THIS WAS SO YUMMY!!  So many fun things to dip and enjoy!!!  It truly was a great night!  And it poured down rain the whole night!
