Brooke Got Nominated For Girls State!!

Brooke came home today with all the paperwork in hand to apply for the Girls State program.  This is a pretty prestigious thing!  Someone, probably a teacher at school nominated her for this!  I think this would be a great activity for her to spend the week down at the University of Arizona at Girls State.  It's basically a conference on leadership.  She wasn't too enthused at first about being nominated, but has since gotten really excited about it!  There are around 30 other girls at SMHS who were nominated, so chances are she won't get to go, but just that fact that she was nominated speaks volumes about Brooke!  We are proud of you Brooke!!
