New Year's Day Activities!! Rainbows and Brooke Got Asked To PROM!!!!

We celebrated the first day of 2017 by attending church!!  It was pouring down rain, so we went and picked up the sister missionaries so they didn't have to ride their bikes in the downpour!  (We are also very excited that our Sacrament Meeting time is now 10am instead of 8am!)  On they way to church, we saw a full double rainbow!  It was so amazing!  At that moment, my soul was just filled with so much hope for this new year!  I felt like it was a sweet sign from Heavenly Father that this year will be blessed with so much good to come!  Here are some pictures that I  took!

Here we are in the parking lot of the sisters' apartment complex.

I couldn't get all of it here either, but thought it was a beautiful picture with the church building at the end of the rainbow!  It's the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!  I thought this very symbolic!!!!

Later on, as we came home from dinner at Mom's house, we found a little surprise on our front lawn and porch.  At first I didn't know what it was, and then I got out of the car and found this!!!!

 

Brooke was asked to Prom in the most creative way that I have EVER seen.  It was so cute!  He made a "pool" and wrote the cutest message on it using swim lingo!

I want to RELAY a couple of things.  First, I think you are FLY and some may say that I should be DISQUALIFIED for a FALSE START in asking you so early, but I couldn’t PHELPS myself!  I’m hoping you might be FREE to KICK it at Mormon Prom with me in STYLE this year!!  I can have you BACK by the STROKE of midnight!  Don’t worry, I will wear a SUIT and not a SPEEDO.  I hope to QUALIFY, but in the meantime, I will be HOLDING MY BREATH for your reply!  I hope this CAPS off your night!  -Creighton

 

So it looks like Brooke will be going to Prom with Creighton Eliason!  Pretty exciting...now to figure out a way to answer him in a cute way!  Gonna be hard to match his creativity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
