I Decided To Run A Half Marathon!

I've been mulling over the idea for a couple of months now since my Dr. had mentioned it. He asked me how many miles I was running and how that was going. I answered that I run 4-5 miles, 5 times a week and that I LOVE it as a form of great exercise. Well, he said that I was almost there, as far as training in order to be able to run a half marathon and that I should think about it. Well, I thought about it-- long and hard, and I decided to just do it! What the heck! But I'm only "half" crazy... fully crazy would be to run a regular marathon! Now that's certifiably crazy! Me, only just sort of! Haha! I went out and bought these shoes because my other shoes were wearing out and to sort of jump start my training! I LOVE THESE SHOES!! They are really comfy!! And, I looked up training schedules and I think I'm going to follow something similar to this one. Jenell also sent me a "customized" training schedule! She's so awesome!! She's excited that I'm doing this and wants to come down in February to run it with me. I've decided to do the Phoenix Half Marathon on February 25th, 2017! Should be fun!!
