Wildlife World Zoo Field Trip With Katelyn! What a FUN day!!

What a great day spent together with Katelyn and 5 other classmates! It was fun to have Camille Scoffied and Ryleigh Ray in our group too! It was the hottest day of the year so far...of course, but we managed it by doing the Aquarium last, at the hottest part of the day. We had so much fun feeding the Lories and the Stingrays! We saw so many amazing animals... some of our favorites to watch were the otters and penguins! Katelyn was able to play with a penguin from the other side of the glass. He followed her pencil wherever she dragged it and if she went straight up, he jumped out of the water! He was so playful!! They are really SMART!! She also did this with a snake (a King Snake) earlier that day. And a Lory sat right on her head! She must be some kind of a charmer, but the Penguin was the most amazing! This zoo has added a lot of animals and acreage-- we definitely need to come back since 4 hours was NOT enough time to see everything!
