Half the battle of getting somewhere early in the morning is getting the teenagers out of bed! Katelyn shared a bed with Robin (sorry Robin) and stole the covers. She denied it but these pictures are the proof... she did it again the next night too! Things are always interesting with Katelyn!!
Are you in there??
PROOF!! Robin thought it was funny! :) Good thing!
"Wait, what??"
Brooke trying to pet Dreg...not such a good idea!
Stick to petting Dexter! He's more appreciative...and social!
The crew ready to rock and roll!
Waiting in line to get in...
While headed to our first roller coaster of the day...the girls got distracted by Batman!
Don't know what got into these girls...
...but they decided they wanted to free fall a distance of 50 feet!!
They are CRAZY!!
Suiting up for the drop of DEATH!
Receiving last minute instructions...
Getting all hooked up.
Going up...
...and up...
and up...
...and WAY WAY UP!!!!!!!!!!!
The height of the arch is 173 ft, the tower, 152 ft, and the
free fall distance is 50 ft with a G-Force of 2.2!
CC had the job of pulling the cord to let them go!
I wouldn't have been able to have that job!!
Flying through the sky!
All cool after the ride...Hahahahaha! They were terrified out of their minds!
Here are some still shots from the video to prove how terrified they were... this is right before they
drop. You can tell because their hair isn't flying all over the place.
The look on their faces is priceless...especially Katelyn!
Brooke is just chillin'!!
Wait for it....
Bam! Down they go!!
So funny!
This one's my favorite! Holding on for dear life!
CC and Katelyn look horrified and Brooke just laughted the whole entire time!!!!!!
The Jet Stream ride.
No trip to an amusement park is complete without...
BUMPER CARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And there was a lot of bumping going on!
We had fun though!
We went to dinner at Twohey's on the way home from Magic Mountain. It's in
Pasadena, which is right on the way!! So convenient!
We were all super hungry and we pigged out!!!!!!!!!!!
None of the teenagers wanted to take a picture, so the adults got a selfie! :)
It was a gorgeous, 70 degree day with a light breeze--perfect for playing outside!
Other than Robin getting a little sick, and me feeling a bit nauseated, the day
was a success!! Robin and I decided though... no more Magic Mountain!
