Halloween is Finally Here!

It was a VERY WET Halloween this year! Arizona hasn't had rain on Halloween since 1987-- which rang true with my own memory-- since we moved here in 1995 it hasn't rained! We have gotten so much rain! It has been wonderful, but it definitely affected how many trick or treaters were out and how many people gave out candy! That's ok, because we had a really fun party and Megan and Todd's house and everyone brought such YUMMY food (and lots of candy) to share! Allison brought 7 layer dip and tortilla chips-- the dip looked like a spider web. Megan made single serve charcuterie cups with pretzels, grapes and cheese chunk and also some cookies with eyeballs! Brooke made cute little pumpkin shaped chicken pot pies and they were soooo good! I was boring and brought a salad (but it was a yummy salad) and cheese and crackers to snack on. We were definitely well fed! This first picture below was a Halloween breakfast Megan made for the boys... it's been a celebration not just today, but all week, and it has been such a blast!!!
