New Year's Eve Fireworks!

12.31.2025

We played games and had a bunch of yummy food tonight to ring in the new year... we decided to do the fireworks early so that Luke and Logan could watch. They even helped to light them! It was a drizzly evening but we had fun celebrating!!!

Drive-Thru Christmas Lights & Ice Cream!

12.29.2025

We all met at the drive-thru lights and piled into the back of Dad's truck and all looked at the lights together! It was so much fun!! The lights and music were synched, so it was quite the show! Luke loved it but Logan not so much... I think that little guy is partied out! We all went for ice cream afterward at Handel's-- most everyone's first time there... it was pretty good! Came home and played MORE GAMES!!! It was fun to hold onto Christmas for just a little bit longer with the lights and music tonight!

Golfing and Pedicures!

12.27.2025

The boys went golfing in the morning and enjoyed their breakfast all together—even Luke and Logan went with them! Then in the afternoon, me and all the girls went and got lunch at Zuppa’s and went for pedicures. We came home and caught the 2nd half of the BYU v. Georgia Tech Bowl game. Luckily they played better the 2nd half and they won! Woohooooo! Kaden’s parents and family came over to watch it with us too! We played pickle square and pickle ball and watched Formula 1 until late. Robin also came over during the pickle ball games and we had fun watching and visiting as everyone played. She only stayed overnight though... it was another fun day!

Lazy Christmas Days...

12.26.2025

The boys helped Grandpa put up the bird feeder they got him for Christmas out in the garden. While they were out there, they picked a bunch of flowers, so we made bouquets! Games and partying continued today with lots of good food (Todd made his Bulgogi), games and the jacuzzi! (Luke didn't make it through dinner!!! Hahaha!)

Christmas Day!

12.25.2025

The boys surprisingly slept in until 7:30! We enjoyed a FULL morning of opening gifts! Then we made crepes for breakfast this year since Brooke and Ben wanted them but won’t be here for New Years morning… tradition will get switched this year; I guess. We enjoyed a fun day of full of games and outside activities...  (Santa brought a scooter for Logan and a bike and binoculars for Luke!)

Christmas Eve with Everyone Here!

12.24.2025

Today is Christmas Eve—Brooke and I made 2 batches of fudge! Everyone brought food for Christmas dinner and Bill did tri tip, which tasted so good! Katelyn made homemade rolls. We had a really nice dinner and evening together and Kaden was able to come and be a part of it too! We practiced a few songs really quickly and went caroling to some neighbors—first to the Livingstone’s (they always get 2 boxes of fudge but since the Moore’s are out of town, they got 3 boxes!) We had a nice visit with them and laughed and had a good time. Then we went across the street to Bethanie and Todd and caroled to them—they LOVED it! They said we sounded like a choir! It was definitely fun to have more male voices for sure! We had a nice visit with them (and gave them a box of fudge, too) and then headed back to the house where we opened a couple gifts that night. First the “bro box” for all the guys and the “sistas stash” for all the girls. The guys got golf shirts and the boys got cute little golf outfits and tickets for 9 holes and breakfast on Saturday. The girls got slippers and and a gift card to go get our nails done and do lunch on Saturday. Kaden had to get back to his family so he left and then we talked about/read the Luke story and shared our feelings about how the Savior has shown up for us this year. We went around the room and each shared something. I loved doing this and it was so spiritual and neat to hear what everyone said. Then the boys put cookies and milk out for Santa and carrots for his reindeer and then we put them to bed! We stayed up and played some fun games and then headed to bed!

Katelyn & Kaden-- Officially Engaged! (FINALLY!)

12.23.2025

This morning, I met Kaden out at Thunderbird Park so he could show me where he planned to propose to Katelyn. We hiked up to the spot so he could show me exactly where to go and how to set up the candles. We all had an early dinner that night and Megan and I headed over to set up the candles. We hid behind a big tree and rock and it wasn’t much longer before Katelyn and Kaden showed up! (They were supposed to be headed to see some crazy lights set to music at someone’s house.) Megan and I stayed hidden until she saw the candles and then we came out and started to film and take pictures. It was fun to be part of it! After, both families met at our house for some celebratory Martinelli’s. Brooke and Ben rolled in soon after everyone got here. It was so fun to see them as well! What a fun night! And they are FINALLY OFFICIALLY ENGAGED! Here we go!! Kaden has a really nice family too!
