Dinner with the Israelsen's!

We drove up to North Salt Lake tonight to meet and have dinner with Brian and Megan. It was such a nice time and yummy dinner! We got to meet their oldest daughter Emily-- she came home and we talked to her for a bit and then she had to leave... she's really sweet and nice! Then their son who's just younger than Ben and Bethany came home from work and we played Cover Your Assets with him and everyone else! It's a really fun game! Brian reminds me SO MUCH of Uncle Doug-- just a fun and good person. You can just see his goodness!! Both Bill and Brooke agreed with me that he is a lot like him and we told him that and he said, "Oh no! I hope that's a good thing?" and I quickly said that Uncle Doug was my FAVORITE uncle! So I think that made him feel good! Megan is also super nice and fun-- we just really had a good visit with them and have so much in common. Megan served her mission 5 years before me in the Brazil, Brasilia mission, but at that time it took in Manaus and and I found out that she served in Manaus! So cool!! They are just the nicest people-- I can see why Ben is the way he is!! Brooke scored not only in the husband category but ALSO in the In Laws and family category!
