Beautiful May Evenings... and BOYS!

The boys had fun this evening playing out in the garden and the yard!! I love that they just come over-- whenever they want and all the time!! They enjoyed some graham crackers and milk afterward and some milk mugs to go with it...cutest little milk mugs!!

 

Memorial Day Fun!

We enjoyed the pool and hot tub today and had such a yummy BBQ-- the summer has officially begun! This is the only picture I got from the whole day. Taryn--Kaden's sister is on the end, with her friend Sophie in the middle and then Katelyn...they had duck races! Allison and Megan and Todd and the boys all came for the festivities!  Later Katelyn went to the new Mission Impossible movie with Kaden's family and they all played volleyball after that! Todd got invited to that--hahaha! I was coming down with a cold all day, so I bowed out pretty early tonight! Even so, it was such a fun day! Memorial Day 2025 is in the books!

 

Sunday Game Night @ Megan and Todd's...

We had dinner over at Allison’s house—Katelyn came with us to that, and then the party shifted to Megan and Todd’s house to put the boys to bed so we could play games. Kaden was able to meet up with us there. After we got the boys to bed, (Luke was struggling and wanted stories-- so Katelyn and Kaden read to him...) we had fun playing Hearts. We stayed up pretty late! Then Katelyn and I stayed up really late talking once we got home!! I didn’t get into bed until 1am!!! It was such a nice Sunday and it has been super fun to have Katelyn home for a bit and to get to know Kaden!

 

K & K @ the Lake!

Katelyn and Kaden came in last night... Kaden went to the airport to pick her up (he got here on Tuesday--his family lives is Surprise) and we all met here--literally! We all got to meet Kaden for the first time... Megan and Todd and the boys were already here. We headed to Pei Wei's for dinner and had a nice visit. We came home and played Rook...Kaden knows how! Kaden came over and we headed to the lake EARLY this morning! We wanted to get there early due to it being a Saturday and a holiday weekend. We got to the lake around 8am and launched pretty quickly, but there were a lot of boats lined up! It was super crazy, even that early—there were so many boats on the water already! It was pretty crowded—especially the boat ramp coming and going! Katelyn and Kaden both got to surf for quite a while and then we went and picked up Todd and Megan and the boys at the dock around 9am. It ended up being a really fun morning—we came off the lake around noon because it was just getting so choppy and busy. K & K had fun trying to surf together... Katelyn wanted to get on his shoulders and after MANY tries they were successful! I can't believe how hard Kaden had to hold on-- it was sheer determination and a lot of strength do do that! It was a fun day!!!

 

Good Clean Indoor Fun!

Megan and I and the boys went to this really fun indoor trampoline park this morning! The boys had so much fun-- Logan was trying so hard to keep up with Luke! They enjoyed all the activities but especially loved going down the big slides and jumping into the foam pits! This place is little boy HEAVEN!!! We got lunch a Chik-fil-A afterward and got Luke a red balloon... Megan said he hasn't let it out of his sight since they got home! Hahaha! What a fun day!!!
