Beautiful Flagstaff!!!

Today I woke up and went running behind the hotel in 58 degree weather! Soooooo nice!! There is a walking/hiking trail behind the hotel that is about a 2 mile loop. There was quite a bit of elevation gain and loss, so I got a great workout!! It was all either gravel or gravel and rocks—so a bit different terrain than I am used to. I had breakfast with Bill before his meetings, then I got cleaned up and Megan and I went shopping and poking around downtown Flagstaff in some really cute stores Allison Barry told me about. We started at a junk store with lots of cool old things—kinda like Merchant Square/Highland Yard. Then we went to the downtown area and poked around some shops in a basement. The elevator was a lift that I pressed the button for upstairs and then I met Megan with the stroller downstairs. Luke LOVES to ride on elevators and had spent quite a bit of time the night before wanting to “ride” the elevators when mom and dad just wanted to sleep! Hahaha! So he liked that! There was a fish pond downstairs and one of the sales ladies brought some food for Luke to feed them. He really liked that!!! We poked around there for a while and then got some ice cream and walked around downtown for a bit and then we came home. We enjoyed a cool and breezy summer day! They provided a buffet lunch, so right when we got back, we went to that. Then Bill and I went and played laser tag later at an arcade. We had fun playing skee ball and the basketball shooting game too. When we got back to the hotel, we went to the pool with Megan and Todd and the boys. Luke had fun in the water and we ended in the hot tub because it was a bit chilly! Dinner that night was outside and it was so gorgeous! I am really trying to soak in all this cooler weather. We enjoyed visiting with other FA’s and enjoyed the ambience while the kids watched an outdoor movie.
