After a week plus of caulking and prepping the paint happened today! This is exciting and it will REALLY look how it's supposed to when they finish it!

The brick layers made more progress on the mantle in the Master Bedroom and the tile layers made more progress in the Master Bathroom...

Hearth, Master Shower, Basement Jack and Jill and Exterior Brick Today...

Lots more going on today... they were able to start the brick on the hearth in the Master Bedroom, the tile in the Master Shower, the tile all the way to the ceiling in the basement Jack and Jill Bathroom and the rest of the exterior brick... so now they can start the paint outside! Crossing fingers for no rain and/or wind!!! (We've had a lot of BOTH lately!!)

Luke came to visit Grandpa at work today!! Luke always loves to come see Daddy and Grandpa working...and they LOVE to see him!!

Cinder Block, Mantles Stained, Pool Bath Tile, Basement Jack and Jill Tile and Window Well Paint! Whew!!

We've got lots going on at the house! Whew!! It's good to see that things are happening... the stain on the mantle's was holding up 2 major subs... the interior AND exterior brick (stain has to be applied before they can do the hearth) and the exterior paint-- the brick had to be finished on the outside before they could paint! Now those things can start happening! This is how things roll-- it's crazy that 1 small things can hold up 2 major things!! But there is progress and that's GOOD!! I love how the Pool Bath is looking! I love the shower pan stone!! All the tile they are doing looks so good!! Love it!!!

STEVENS CREEK IS THE GOAT (Katelyn's Letter)

HEY Y'ALL!

Sorry for the short email but this week was SO GOOD!!! We went to the TEMPLE as a mission and it's my fav thing EVER!!! Please please go often for me. The temple brings so much peace and direction! I learned so much! I absolutely LOVE the people here in Stevens Creek. It's so fun. They put us in charge of the goat petting zoo for their Easter egg hunt activity and it was a party! Sky and Cruella the Goat jumped up on us when we were feeding them and scared me lol! It's been raining SOOO MUCH here! It's crazy!! My little AZ umbrella is barely keeping me dry baha! But we are working hard and working with some awesome friends that are growing closer to Jesus!

I studied Alma 38 and what it means to "Bridle your passions to be filled with love" and I found this quote that I love!

"Bridling increases strength, increases power, increases love. There are absolutely two ways you can control a horse. One is to kill it; one is to bridle it. Alma never said kill your passions. The implication is not that passions are evil, that we shouldn’t have them. On the contrary, we bridle something we love, something whose power we respect." -Paul H Dunn
