Robin's 67th Birthday!!!
3.31.2022
It's a day late, but amidst all the chaos and after a long day of working at mom's house, we found time to celebrate Robin's birthday! We had a nice dinner and then cake and ice cream for dessert! Happy Birthday Robin!!!!
UCLA and BYU!!
Robin and I came across this old license plate of dad's in mom's garage while we were cleaning it out... BYU and UCLA too! Hahaha!! I love it!! Dad was definitely a fan of both! It's been a crazy few days but we are making progress and we are just about ready to put mom's house on the market...

CEMENT! The First Pour...
Bill and I went out to the property tonight and were thrilled to see that the first pour of the cement had been done! It's going to rain tomorrow, so the 2nd pour probably won't happen tomorrow... bummer! BUT, things are coming along!!
Stake Young Men Senior Dinner
3.27.2022
Tonight was the Stake YM Senior Dinner at the Pace's house. The dinner was delicious and the Stake YM Pres. and Pres. Worlton both spoke to the graduating seniors. Below are the Priests from our ward graduating this year... Taye Ostler, Andrew Maskovich, Joseph Anderson and Johnny Hart. We were missing a couple of boys... It was a nice evening and funny to watch these boys take these pictures! They are a good group of boys!! (This may be the last event Bill and I attend before he is released and a new bishop called! Crazy!!)

Basement Floor is Graded and Ready for the Cement to be Poured!
3.24.2022
Inspections have been passed and the dirt floor of the basement has been graded and is ready for the cement to be poured this Monday! It has to be done in 2 pours and rain is in the forecast for Tuesday, so I'm not sure what will happen there. That 2nd pour may be delayed if it does rain-- depending on how much rain we get, I guess... It's a wait and see game we are playing-- which seems like the game we are always playing with this build!! It's coming along though and progress is being made, so we are moving in the right direction, at least!!! This is such a cool process to watch!
This Little Guy is 4 Months Old!!!
I just can't get enough of this little guy!! He is FOUR MONTHS OLD TODAY!! Where does the time go? He's so big and cute! He's getting so interactive and curious about the world! I love the little personality that is emerging, too! He's so much fun and I love him so much!!
A Fun Day with Brooke!
Brooke and I got to spend the day together! She was craving Costco pizza, so on our way to Salt Lake, we stopped there to get gas and went inside for a slice of pizza for lunch. It was actually really good! Then we headed for Salt Lake and I tried to find the McGee and Co. place that I thought was a store, but apparently it’s just an online fulfillment center. She only does sales out of her warehouse every so often. I was kinda bummed about that! Then we headed to Orson Gygi’s. Brooke wasn’t feeling well, so she stayed out in the car to nap while I went in. I love that store! I poked around and found a couple of cute Easter kitchen towels and I got some of their good melting chocolate and some cute gumballs for Katelyn’s mission open house coming up. I thought it would look cute for color. After that, we went to the Food Nanny store which is only 5 min away!! How convenient! Brooke came in with me and we had fun looking around. I bought some of her Kamut flour and her French sea salt and a cute canister to put it in. I also got a pair of salt and pepper grinders. After that, we decided to go to the City Creek Mall in downtown Salt Lake/Temple Square. The temple is still under construction. We had so much fun poking around those stores and went to Costa Vida for dinner. On our way home, we hit the University Mall. I had a craving for a Chip cookie, so on our way to her house, we stopped and got a couple. They had just come out of the oven and were piping hot! We took them back to her apt. and she shared hers with Addison and I ate my own! Brooke and I then went back to my hotel and got ready for bed. We kept calling Katelyn to see if she was finished with her busy day. She finally called us back around 10:30—AFTER I’d gotten in my PJ’s wanting to come over and join our sleepover. So I put on my coat and Brooke’s jandals and went and got her! We stayed up LATE again and watched a movie together—“The Adam Project” on Netflix. It was a pretty good movie about time travel, but I was just so tired! I fell asleep and I woke up and looked over at Brooke and she was asleep too! Haha! Katelyn for some reason was wide awake! It was still so fun to have a sleepover and just all be together! Brooke and I were bummed we didn't get any fun pictures together today, but this note was in the box our Chip cookies came in... cute! It has been so fun to spend some time together with my girls! I always miss them so much when they're away!! I love the good things they are doing in their lives!!!
Katelyn's (Belated) 19th Birthday and Her Phi Eta Sigma Banquet!
3.23.2022
I got to take a quick trip up to Utah and the main reasons why I came were to celebrate Katelyn's 19th Birthday and also to attend her Phi Eta Sigma Banquet. Her birthday was last Friday but in order to attend the banquet, I had to come late for her birthday... this afternoon I picked Katelyn up at the dorms and we headed for Brooke’s apt around 2:30. Katelyn opened one of her gifts when we got there-- a silver infinity necklace I got her to wear on her mission-- we always say to each other "I love you mostest times infinity!" I got one for me to wear during her mission, as well. I then made the cake but there wasn’t time to ice it before the banquet because it had to cool first. I did get a good nap in though before we left to go to the banquet. Brooke and Katelyn studied while I napped. The Phi Eta Sigma banquet was nice but it seemed longer than when we went to it for Brooke. It was nice though and the dinner was great. The people at our table were really nice. We met a guy that Todd knew from High School who played volleyball with him! Such a small world… After we walked back to Brooke’s apt. and I quickly made the chocolate fudge icing and got the cake all ready. Addison came over and we celebrated Katelyn’s birthday with cake and ice cream. She opened the rest of her gifts before we did the cake. I got her a South Carolina flag and McKenzie got her a cute t-shirt with the outline of South Carolina with the word “love” scrolled into the border. It is super cute and Katelyn loved it!! The cake was great, but I forgot to add the vanilla at the end due to my rush. It just wasn’t as good… After we stayed up and watched the new “Cheaper by the Dozen” at Brooke’s house. Brooke needed the car the next day to go to her shift early at the temple, so she drove us home—Katelyn back to her dorm to get her stuff and then both of us back to the hotel for a sleepover. Katelyn and I stayed up late (2:30am!) watching “Is it Cake?” It was fun though… I’m glad I sacrificed sleep to spend time with Katelyn. We both dozed in and out while we were watching it—funny! It was a fun day celebrating Katelyn! I love her desire to excel in everything she does!!!
A Sweet Memory of Aunt Jane and Mom...
3.22.2022
Nikki Palmer found this sweet picture of Aunt Jane, Uncle Doug and Mom... I think it is at the Provo City Center Temple back in 2018 when Scott Beatie was married, but I'm not completely sure. What a beautiful picture of these two ladies-- what wonderful friends they were in this life!!! I bet they are having a blast up in heaven!

Nicole's 40th Birthday Bash!!!
3.19.2022
It was so fun helping with this fun party for Nicole's 40th!! Jamie had the vision and it was fun to help her decorate and make it beautiful!! I got to use mom’s pretty plastic chairs (I thought how happy she must’ve been that I used them, and so quickly!) and I brought lots of stuff to use for the party too. We all helped set up in her backyard, and that was a party in and of itself. It looked sooooo good! After, Jamie, Drayton, Jordan, Jim and I all went to Twisted Sugar and Jamie treated me to a cookie and a drink… she is so nice! She is so much fun and I am ALWAYS laughing with her! What a fun friend and such a blessing in my life! I went home and took a quick nap so I could be ready for the party!
The party was super fun and so festive! The dinner was so good and everything was decorated so beautifully and the balloons and lights all looked so pretty! I got to meet 4 couples that will be in our new ward when we move… the Barry’s (Devin and Allison), the Alvord’s (Jeremy and Ashlie), the Flam’s (Sam and Meg) and the Fellar’s (Donnie and Kira)—all such FUN people! And then, of course there was Bill and I, Jim and Jamie, Tiffany and Mark and Nate and Nicole. We enjoyed the wonderful dinner and conversation, served up the cake and then sat around the fire and played "3 truths and a lie"—way fun! That group of people is WILD! There were some FUNNY truths and it was 11:30pm before that party broke up and we started to take everything down!!! We got lots of good pictures too! We were laughing so hard the entire night and it felt so good to just get away and not worry about anything and just laugh and have fun for a bit! It took a while to take everything down and do the dishes and pack and load everything up in my car… but we were out of there by 12:30. Then we dropped some stuff by the Livingstone’s house they forgot and ended up talking to them for another 30 min!! (We got home pretty late but we have late church now, so I get to sleep in tomorrow!) What a fun party!!!
