Welcome Baby Luke!!!

Dr. Bass came in and checked on Megan at 8am this morning and broke her water. She hadn’t felt ANY contractions until then and they hit HARD as soon as he broke her water! She contracted hard for about an hour when the anesthesiologist came and gave her an epidural. She was so grateful for it too, as it made it completely bearable and the pain went away. Luke James Polley was born @ 12:41pm on November 24th —4 hours and 41 minutes after her water breaking. He weighed 7 lb. 9 oz and was 20.5” long! He is adorable and we are ALL so smitten and in love with him! He is the cutest baby I’ve ever seen (besides my own!) and he has such a gentle and easy personality. His cries are quiet and raspy, but Megan reports that when he is hungry he can really belt it out! We are so excited to have him finally here and that he arrived healthy and that Megan is doing great too!  What an exciting day!!
