Beach Day @ Newport!

Today we all got to sleep in a bit and then we headed to Newport Beach.  It was the last day that beaches were open because the Governor of CA is shutting them all down tomorrow!  (Probably what the sign is protesting in the picture below!)  It was so pretty and there weren’t that many people on the beach!  I thought there would be a lot more people going because of the shutdown.  We took a pic-nic lunch.  I walked around with Katelyn taking pictures with her camera for a little bit and Robin read a book under the umbrella.  We visited and really enjoyed the day.  It was kind of overcast and cold, so I just wore a sweatshirt the whole time!  Katelyn waded in the water…  it was a fun day.  We got another ice cream on the way back!  We are giving Baskin-Robbins a lot of business this week!  Just before we got to Robin’s house we headed to In-N-Out and got take-out  hamburgers for dinner… it was already late and we didn’t want to cook something.  We enjoyed another chill evening together!  It was a super fun day!!!  Heading back to AZ tomorrow...not so fun...
