Memorial Day Memories!

I baked a cake for Jesse today!  He said that if we baked him a cake, he'd come to church!  Here he is with his mom and ALL SMILES!  He couldn't stop smiling when we brought it over to him!  I told him he didn't have to share it either!!!  Jesse was in our Trek Family last summer and such an amazing kid!  We just love Jesse!  (Incidentally... he did come to church the following Sunday and even got a calling!)

Pictures of Brooke snoozing by the pool-- can't believe it's still cool enough to do this fully clothed!  Paisley even got in on the action!  Below we are sporting our cute new pants for Memorial Day!  We love the red, white and blue colors!  We had the missionaries over for dinner tonight and had a BBQ with steaks and yummy veggies out of our garden.  We ate outside on the patio by the pool with a cool breeze!  It was a gorgeous night!  I should've gotten pictures!  Elder Scheible is from Germany and Elder Stanford is from Canada...so they didn't understand the whole Memorial Day thing, but they loved the food.  I lucked out when I fixed them strawberry shortcake for dessert-- both of their favorite desserts!  It was a great Memorial Day and such a beautiful evening!  Heat's comin' though!
