On Our Way to Germany!!

Here we are in the airplane waiting for take off to Germany leaving out of LAX!  Tomorrow we'll be there!  This is going to be an adventure!!!

I finally got a couple of pictures of Trooper smiling!  He does this all the time, but it's hard to catch!  He was really happy to see me and just kept smiling!  It was a nice Sunday afternoon!

It was a fun evening.  It started out with dinner at the Hart's house, then bowling, then the dance and then here at our house for the after party with pizookies and karaoke!  It was a lot of fun to watch them all get into the karaoke!  They had a blast!!

This is the Story of My LIFE!!!!!

I woke up to another charade this morning...I'm always the first to find these things as I get up early to go running on Saturday mornings.  Brooke's swim team and life guarding friend and fellow senior, Westin Dawe was responsible for this one... cotton balls are A LOT easier to clean up than TP, as least...

Saying Goodbye to Megan... and the Alumni Meet with Brooke and Katelyn!

We woke up early this morning to make the long drive back to Arizona... but not before officially saying goodbye to Megan.  (Even though we technically said our goodbye's last night.)  As soon as we got back home, we left to help time at the Alumni meet-- Katelyn's first high school meet.  Too bad Megan wasn't still home... I'd have 3 girls in this cool picture.  (Maybe next year?) 

The first picture below shows the cabinets up in the laundry room.  I'd taken a picture of the laundry room last night before we got the cabinets in... so here they are.  Now all of the cabinets are up in the condo.  Still A LOT of work for Stan to finish before everyone moves back in and school starts...

Dinner with Megan After a LOOOOONG Day of Work at the Condo...

We took Megan out to a nice dinner tonight to spend some time together and to wish her well this semester.  It was a long day of work at the condo helping Stan and we really didn't have time to clean up first, but we enjoyed some fun time together on this trip.  I am excited for Megan to begin her semester at BYU!  After dinner, we went shopping and then returned to the condo to work some more.  Here are some pictures of the progress we've made...

A Sadie Hawkins Response Napoleon Dynamite Style!

Peter Hart came over this fine Sunday evening to officially respond with his "yes" to Brooke to go with her to the Sadie Hawkins dance.  He did the dance that Napoleon Dynamite does in the movie!  It was hilarious.  A picture wouldn't have done it justice, but we did get video of it!  He brought over a cake that he made and we all enjoyed a piece of it together.  They will have fun at Sadie's together!  I love the glasses!

Our Fast, Furious and FunTrip to California!!

We almost didn't go on this little weekend getaway, due to all the stress this week, but I'm glad that we did.  We had an enjoyable time on our last weekend with Megan with us.  (McKenzie couldn't come because she had to work...I was a little hesitant about leaving her, but she didn't really want to come and enjoyed having meals with Grandma and enjoyed her company while we were gone.)  Sky Silva came with us and was fun to have along.  She just fit right in!  We enjoyed a fun 2 hours paddle boarding/kayaking and then we went and set up camp on the beach and enjoyed some down time and a BBQ!  The girls had fun getting in the water, but didn't really boogie board.  (We hauled those all the way to CA!)  They said the water was too cold, but I think it was really nice!  We also enjoyed spending time with Robin!  She's a lot of fun!  It was a beautiful, cool and breezy day!
