Easter Egg Hunts and Egg Coloring!
3.30.2024
We had a fun day at the park doing an Easter egg hunt with Luke! It was a gorgeous spring day!! Later on after his nap, McKenzie and I went over to their house and colored eggs... Luke LOVED this and wanted to help dunk the eggs and get them out! We had a couple of spills but I managed not to get any on my shirt! Hahaha! Then Luke got to eat one and right away, he wanted to have another one! That was his first hard-boiled egg and he was SOLD!! It was a really fun day!!!

This little guy is so snuggly! I got to hold him a lot tonight when I went over to help Megan while Todd was at a volleyball game. Luke was a fun little guy too! He's pretty silly!!
Palm Sunday @ Megan and Todd's House...
3.24.2024
It was a joyful Sunday as I remembered Palm Sunday and our Savior's triumphal entry into Jerusalem! He brings so much joy into my life and because of Him, my family can be together forever! Bill cooked a yummy meal which we took over to Megan and Todd's house, and we enjoyed the afternoon together with them. It was a beautiful and special Sabbath day!
Chillin' with Luke!
3.23.2024
What a day with Luke! We had lots of emotions today which included almost an hour of meltdowns (on the way home from the hospital and before his nap), escaping out the front door and Grandma running after him thinking the worst before she found him in the next door neighbors' side yard playing in their toy fire truck, figuring out how to snap all the baby locks on not just the front door, but the door to the garage AND the pantry door... needless to say he was in that pantry trying to steal snacks THE entire day-- and Grandma gave in several times out of sheer exhaustion! I think Grandma was just as happy to see Megan and Todd and Luke was!!! We did enjoy a fun day of way more playing and giggling too-- so not all was lost! Luke is such a cute little boy. At one point my eye was watering and stinging and I couldn't see, so he went into my room and grabbed some other medicine and brought it to me trying to help me feel better! I thought this was so sweet of him-- he was trying his hardest to help Grandma! What a day!!!
Meeting Little Brother!
Today I got to take Luke to the hospital to meet Logan. He was SO EXCITED to see his mom and dad and his little brother. I took him to the store to buy balloons and flowers and he seemed to have fun picking them out! He’s such a cutie! Firemen and their truck were outside in front of the store and Luke stopped and stared at the big truck. One of them asked if he’d like to sit in the truck and he slowly and shyly nodded his head yes. So he let him climb in and then after a few minutes picked him up and gave him back to me. He LOVED that! So fun!! When we got to the hospital, we needed to wait for Megan to finish nursing Logan and wrap him up and put him in the crib. She wanted her arms to be free for Luke to hug her and sit on her lap to meet Logan—which was very smart of her!! Luke was so patient as we waited down in the lobby. I got video of the whole thing and it was so cute and sweet! We didn’t stay long as Luke needed to go down for his nap. McKenzie and Dad came a little after me to give Luke time with his brother first. Megan and Todd spent the rest of the afternoon at the hospital waiting for them to finish all their tests, etc. They got some cute shots of Logan in the meantime! Before they came home, they changed his outfit again, and got some more cute shots. They made it home just before Luke had to go to bed. He was so excited to see them after a very emotional day of being very anxious about things, as his life completely turned upside down with this whole thing! The family is all reunited at home now and things are headed in the direction of normal now! What a cute little family!!!
