This is me on Marco Polo with the girls just after I visited mom at her rehab facility. I'm wearing protective glasses, double masking with an N95 mask on the bottom and you can't see it but I'm wearing a plastic gown as well... these are crazy times we are living in for sure!! I feel badly though that mom has been through so much in the last week. She is enduring it well.

YM Iditarod in Flagstaff...
1.22.2022
Bill and Todd both went up to the YM Iditarod this weekend. It was cold and was snowing during the actual race and there was already a lot of snow on the ground. Our YM did great! But the shorts are killin' me! Burrrrr! Way too cold for me!!!
Luke is (almost) 2 Months Old!!!
1.21.2022
Here are Luke's 2 month pictures... Megan got a little excited because she liked the outfits he was in that day but he's not quite 2 months yet until January 24th--but that's ok! This little guy has been so much fun! He is just the cutest thing ever! It has been so much fun to have him around! He is all smiles!
A Day with Luke!!
1.19.2022
I got to watch Luke today while Megan subbed a job at her old dental office. It was so much fun!! We went on a little walk and stopped by at mom’s house for just a bit to check in and say hi. It was a beautiful sunny day and he seemed to enjoy being out. When we got home I gave him his bottle cold because he chugged a full ounce so I thought it was ok. (Megan said he likes it right out of the fridge.) He started to really fuss and I burped him, checked his diaper and even thought he might have a tummy ache… FINALLY I decided to warm up his milk—BINGO! After seriously about a ½ hour or more of trying to figure out what the problem was, it was just the temperature of his milk! Grandma will NEVER make that mistake again! He was so happy!! He played on his little mat for a while and even got some tummy time. I held him a lot and we had so much fun! He went down so well for his nap too! I woke him up to feed him after his nap and everything went well that time! I even FaceTimed with Brooke-- not sure why Luke didn't show up in the screenshot with her. She was looking at him in that picture. Megan came by around 6:30 to get him and had really missed him. I could tell when she dropped him off that she was having a hard time! It was such a fun day for Grandma though and I really missed Luke when he left!
I Just Can't with the HAIR!!!
1.15.2022
Luke has so much BLONDE hair! He's such a cutie pie! He loves his little play mat too! This kid is the cutest little boy I've EVER seen!!! Those eyes!!! He smiles at you and is so much more interactive lately! He is so much fun!!!!!!!!!!
Megan Reading to Luke...
Cute pictures with Luke today! I can totally see Todd in the first couple of pics. Looks like he was paying more attention to Todd (who was taking the pictures) than to the story! Hahaha! Sweet little Luke!!
Valentine's Care Packages...
1.13.2022
I had so much fun putting these care packages together for Brooke and Katelyn. I should send one to myself! I would LOVE to get a package like this in the mail!!! I especially like the little gnomes I found at Target! So cute! I went back to get one for me, and they were sold out! None to be found at either Target near me! Man I hope those girls appreciate me! Hahahaha!!!
Lazy Sunday Afternoons...
1.09.2022
Got to hang out with this little guy and his parents today! We watched Stake Conference on Zoom with Grandma and got lots of cuddle time together! They came over to our house later for Sunday dinner. It's been so fun to have Megan and Todd close and to be able to see Luke almost every day!!
Girls are BACK at BYU!
1.03.2022
BYU Winter Semester has officially begun!! Here's a picture of Brooke and Katelyn's schedule. Brooke said her semester is the easiest of all her Nursing semesters. Katelyn is taking a lot of prerequisites for Business that should still count for general requirements. Hopefully they will enjoy their classes and have a fun semester!
Bring on 2022!
1.01.2022
Here are pictures from the stroke of midnight... we celebrated, drank some Martinelli's and set off some fireworks... It was very quiet this morning! I got up around 8:30 to shower before I made our traditional crepe breakfast. Breakfast was ready by 9:30 and the Rose Parade was on! Megan and Todd got here around that time. We fixed a plate for mom and took it over to her. We enjoyed the day watching football and later went to the church to play pickle ball. The girls were all packed to go back up to school and left for Vegas at 4:30 from the church. It was so sad saying goodbye to them! I’m glad they can split up that awful 10 hour drive halfway at the Polley’s! We came home from the church and started to put away all the Christmas décor while we listened to the Ohio State v. Utah game. The Buckeyes pulled it off! We got everything taken down, but still need to put a lot away. I went over to Megan’s to borrow an onion for Sunday dinner and got to hold Luke for a bit. I already miss Brooke and Katelyn horribly! It was so fun to have them HOME for 2 weeks and to spend some time with them! My life is a string of hellos and goodbyes! I am so grateful for the good family that I have and that I DO miss them when they leave. That just means I love them a lot and that we have a good relationship! I do love each one of my kids and feel so lucky to have Megan, Todd and Luke so close by! That is a blessing!!!
