Then, I headed over to Katelyn's track meet at Deer Valley High School and watched her run the 1600 (mile). She got an awesome time and she did it with incredibly painful shin splints-- that girl has grit! She's awesome! I love, love, love to watch her! (Bill was at a Stake Baptism so he wasn't able to go.) Later, Bill and I returned to the meet to watch her run her 800. She didn't perform as well as she usually does in this event due to the said shin splints, as the first race earlier had aggravated them quite a bit. She was still fun to watch. I don't know what happened to the picture, but the fuzzy one at night is of her 800 race. Both events she ran in today were the medaling heats.
