Homecoming 2017-- Brooke's Senior Year!

9.30.2017

We managed to find this cute dress in between sessions of conference today!  It was a little stressful, but we found one and it's modest and she looks darling!  She went with Thomas Greer and CC Brooksby, Ben Furlong and Sky Silva and Weston Buckhannon and Caitlin Jarman (a girl from another Stake).  They had a great time.  After the dance, they went to the Mullers for dessert and games.  Brooke had a lot of fun!!

SMHS Homecoming Parade! (And An Invitation to the Homecoming Dance...)

9.29.2017

It was a fun morning with the annual SMHS Homecoming Parade!  It was fun to watch everyone showing great school and team spirit and having such a blast!  I walked along side the parade and got some cute pictures of the Swim and Dive Team!

Also, Parker Muller asked Brooke to the Homecoming Dance later on this evening!  Nothing like a bit of stress to find a dress... guess I know what I'm doing tomorrow!  Parker brought this single white rose to ask her to the dance.  It's been a crazy day and will be a crazy weekend!

SMHS V. Sunnyslope... Oh, And We Said Goodbye to Cosmo and Got Our New Car!

9.28.2017

Parker came to watch Brooke at her swim meet today.  (His brother Easton is also on the team, but his mom said that he really came to see Brooke!)  It was a weird meet, people missed their swims--if it hadn't been for that, we probably would've beat Sunnyslope.  It was just strange.  That never happens!  Westin Dawe, Ellice Richman and Katelyn bemoaning the loss to Sunnyslope on the floor of the guard hut!  We said goodbye to "Cosmo" tonight as well.  Cosmo has been a great car and has shared much of the raising of our kids over the last 7 or so years!  Good memories in that car!  But it was time to get a new car and Jim found us a great car!  It's going to take me a long time to figure out all the buttons on this one...and also all the techy stuff it can do!  It's a really nice car!  It's a 2017 and only has 8,000 miles on it!  It also still smells new!  I feel really spoiled and can't believe I get to drive such a nice car.  The girls named him "CJ" which is short for Cosmo Jr.  Gotta represent for BYU!

An Early Birthday Present For Megan...

9.24.2017

Megan got a birthday surprise from McKenzie via Amazon!  This came in the mail for her.  McKenzie had asked what she wanted for her birthday and she said, "Just your love, McKenzie!".  Well that wasn't good enough and McKenzie just kept asking.  So finally Megan said, "Maybe some Swedish Fish"... Well, she got her wish!  McKenzie sent 5 POUNDS worth of these cute little guys!  She has enough to last her the whole school year at BYU!  I told her to share them with her roomies and visiting teaching ladies, and anyone else on campus for that matter!  Hahahaha!!  We love McKenzie to pieces!  She has the hugest heart and wants to show her love through action! Today is also the day I flew home to reality.  It felt good to get back to the warmth of AZ and to see the sunshine!  All was well with everyone and everything when I arrived home safe and sound!

hello
Hello! I’m Mindy. I love Spring and Fall weather, the BYU Cougars, reading, hiking and of course…my family! I LOVE being with them doing just about anything…but usually attending one of their games or just hanging out!
