Megan Got Accepted to BYU!!!!!!!

We are so excited with the news this week that Megan got accepted into BYU!  She has wanted to go there since she was 4!  She is so thrilled and excited to be able to go there and have that experience! Dad got her the chocolate and balloons to celebrate!

Braces!!!!!!

Katelyn got her braces on today!  Between her ears and thumb hurting on Saturday from piercing her ears and cutting her thumb we teased her that she just had to go back for more punishment!  Now her mouth hurts too!  (But her pierced ears are sure cute!!)

Katelyn Gets Her Ears Pierced... and other things on a crazy Valentine's Day!!

We were in the Mall this afternoon and Katelyn said that she wanted to get her ears pierced as we passed the place that does it.  After we got past the initial scariness of it all, she finally agreed that that's what she wanted to do.  It was fun to pick out earrings for her after she got them pierced.

Later that night, Bill and I went to a Sweetheart Dinner at Mom's house, where we did the main dish of Shrimp Scampi (it turned out sooooo good).  Well when we got home, it was late, and we heard this little yelp  amongst everybody getting ready for bed.  Katelyn had cut her thumb on a pocket knife.  She was playing around with it (don't ask me why at 11:00 at night) and accidentally caught her thumb.  We went to the Emergency Room to have it sewn up and our heads didn't hit the pillow until 2am or so.  (I fell asleep several times during Ward Conference the next day at church!

Whoops!!)  What a day and possibly the most memorable Valentine's Day we've had in a long time!

Hayden Farley's "I Beat Cancer" Party

We had so much fun attending Hayden Farley's "I beat cancer!" party.  We are so glad that he is a healthy, happy little boy and that he can go back to being just that.  The Farley's are good friends of ours and we are so happy and relieved for them!  We loved the super heroes theme.  Here we are with a few of them that showed up at the party!

It was a beautiful evening at New Beginnings!  This was Megan's last one... and Katelyn's first one!! I can't believe that Megan is graduating soon and that Katelyn is almost a Beehive!!  Where has the time gone?
