After we all got back from the dinner party at the Israelsen's, Kaden and Katelyn decided they wanted to continue the fun on the basketball court. They dressed up at the party along with Luke and Logan who both went as Mario and Luigi. Such a nice evening! I still had a bunch to do tonight before the wedding tomorrow, so I didn't participate much in the social atmosphere after the party... but looks like Kaden and Katie had a pretty good time!

Another Fun Halloween Meal...
10.30.2025

Megan had everyone over for dinner tonight and she made these for her Halloween meal-- so CUTE!! Grandma and Grandpa Freeman, Jenell and Ruby, Deana and Eric and the rest of us were all there. Even Katelyn came in late from her flight over-- Kaden's Dad dropped her off on their way home. It was a fun evening and we enjoyed visiting outside in the nice cool air! It's FALL!! And we have a WEDDING SOON!!!!

Graduation Appreciation from April 2024

Brooke brought me this from her April 2024 graduation from Nursing school at BYU-- she'd forgotten about it, and when she recently moved to her new apartment, she found it! So she brought it to me and Bill... she said BYU gave it to her to present to us for supporting her! Wow! That's pretty cool!

Luke's Pumpkin Carving Party!
10.29.2025

Brooke and Ben drove from Utah straight to Megan's house! She made a fun Halloween dinner that tasted so good and then we carved pumpkins afterward... what a fun evening together!!

Soccer Games, Triathlons & Trunk or Treats!
10.25.2025

It was a busy day for our family! We went to Luke's very FIRST soccer game! It was so fun to watch him and he is SUPER good at dribbling the ball! Katelyn participated in her very first Triathlon today in St. George-- super proud of her for all the hard work and training she has put into that! Tonight, we topped of the day by going to Megan and Todd's ward Trunk or Treat. It was such a beautiful, cool evening! It was so fun to see the boys as Mario and Luigi and watch them play... they are such active and happy little guys! It was such a fun night-- we saw a lot of people we know and it was fun to visit with Mark and Christy Lee, who's daughter Morgan lives in this ward now, too! Morgan and Megan were good friends in high school. What a fun night!

Brooke & Ben's Open House @ the Israelsen Home
10.18.2025

We spent the entirety of our morning into the afternoon helping the Israelsen’s set up for the open house. We had the family party first from 3-5 and then the actual open house from 5-7:30. It was such a loooooooong day! BUT Uncle Doug and his wife Kathy came and it was so fun to see him and to meet Kathy for the first time. They are so cute together! Uncle Doug looks so good and so happy! Marilyn and Jim, Marla and Kyle and their family and Amber came from Bill’s side. Aunt Tommie Sue and Uncle Craig also came and it was so nice to visit with them for a bit too. I met a lot of Ben’s family and close friends and they are all so neat! He has a really close family and they are all so friendly!! A lot of them will be at the wedding. All of our family was there too! I’m so grateful for kids that support our family activities! Megan and Katelyn threw Brooke’s bachelorette party last night and apparently they went all out and made Brooke feel so loved! It was fun to be there with the boys today, as well! We kinda ducked out at 6 for the kick off of the BYU v. Utah game! It was such a great game and we ended up pulling out another awesome win! 7-0 baby!! Woohooo!! Go Cougs!! Our family was pretty much all downstairs watching the game— oh and Kaden came with Katelyn for all the activities too. They are getting asked a lot of questions about when their wedding is going to be. Overall it was a great open house with beautiful weather and I am now officially tapped out socially! It was fun but long!!!
