Wedding Things...

I was hard at work today stuffing wedding invitations so I can send them out right when we get back from our trip next month. Brooke and Katelyn had a fun night together making Brooke's silk bouquet of flowers for bridals next week. Katelyn took that florals class at BYU over the summer and it came in handy-- she really knows what she's doing! I think it turned out so good-- AND she can use the bouquet for the open house as well! Everything is falling into place... soon a wedding is going to happen!!!

Sunday Fun!

Luke had fun playing with upstairs toys before church and downstairs toys with Papa while Logan was taking his nap! Megan and Todd come home tonight and the boys are so ready and excited for them to come home-- especially Luke! He asked ALL day if Daddy was home yet!

 

Paige's 3rd Birthday Party!

The boys had fun at Paige's birthday party-- especially swimming! Luke had so much fun with his "lessons" from Brent! Brent had him doing all sorts of fun things... Luke has really gotten to be a pretty good swimmer this summer! Logan enjoyed the water too! After swimming, we had cake and Paige opened her presents! Luke and I had gone shopping together in the morning and he helped me pick out a gift for her and he was so excited to give it to her! Logan was bopping and dancing to the music-- that guy likes to move and groove! We had a fun afternoon, but a long drive there and a long drive back... but it was fun for the boys to get out and play and have fun with their 2nd cousins! We didn't know it was a swim party, so they loaned us clothes for the boys... hahaha!

Little Champs Play Gym & Chick-fil-A...

Today I took the boys to the play gym and they had a blast and literally wore themselves out-- especially Logan! He hit a wall and was HUNGRY! He went through all my snacks and was STILL hungry and Chick-fil-A didn't happen fast enough-- hahaha! We made it to Chick-fil-A and got these hungry boys fed! They played AGAIN on the play gym there for a few minutes and then we headed HOME for naps... Logan fell asleep THREE MINUTES before we got home! I tried the entire drive to keep him awake, but he finally couldn't keep his eyes open any longer! I got him out of his carseat, changed his diaper and put his sleep sack on WITHOUT HIM WAKING UP! That's got to either be a record, or he was REALLY TIRED!!! I think he was just really tired!! It was a fun day with the boys!!!

Story Time, Snuggles and Night Nights!

Story Time @ the Library!

I took the boys to Sunrise Mountain Library's story time this morning... it was really cute! They played with the toys afterward and also enjoyed these outdoor toys and some snacks... After we went to Costco so I could buy MORE snacks. These boys eat A LOT of snacks!!! It was a fun morning...

Lukey Helping Mom with His "Work" Shoes...

Megan and Todd are leaving tomorrow to go on their Mediterranean Cruise and Luke was helping her clean the house, but he stopped and said, "Momma, I need my work shoes, so I can clean!" These are his "work" shoes-- AKA Daddy's shoes! Cute little helper!!

 

Wedding Invitations... DONE!!

Finished formatting the wedding invitation. Here's the front and the back and also Brooke and Ben's Sealing invitation, as well. It's off to the printer now!!! Getting things checked off the wedding "to do" list!

We Got "Ding Dong" Ditched...

... I think by the YM/YW last night! I came home from GNO at Megan's and this was on the counter! A really sweet feeling came over me when I saw it... it was Heavenly Father's way of reminding me that He sees me and knows what's going on right now. I've been feeling super stressed due to all the pressure this past couple weeks to get wedding things done because of my timeline with the boys coming for a week and then going out of town for 1/2 of September... and this was just a little reminder from Him-- kinda like, "Hey I got you!!" And I HAVE felt His help and my time expanded to be able to get things accomplished. But oh boy... it has been wild! I haven't had a spare minute and not just wedding things have needed to be done. I'm just grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who SEES me-- even if I feel completely unseen... and that He reaches out to me through other people!

 

Proud Preschooler!

Luke looks so proud and happy to be going to his FIRST day of preschool today! I can't believe he's old enough to be going! Cute little guy!

Brooke & Ben's Engagement Photos-- Albion Basin, Utah

These pictures turned out SO GOOD! Tia did great work on the engagement photos. There were 212 of them!!! I have all of them saved to my computer, but here I've just selected SOME of my favorites! (It was hard to just pick these 37!) Albion Basin was such a beautiful setting for this gorgeous couple-- Tia captured their relationship so well and got such great photos of them! Exciting times ahead for the both of them!!!
