Luke's Pikachu Birthday Party!

We officially celebrated Luke's birthday tonight! Megan made this cute cake and Todd made his famous Bulgogi Korean BBQ for everyone. Brent and Shelby and family came out to celebrate too! AND... Josh was here! He surprised everyone and came the day after Thanksgiving. (He had to work on Thanksgiving.) It was fun to have everyone here and the weather has been so nice-- we've loved being outside! Luke got a lot of nice new toys-- mostly Pikachu themed-- and he loved it!!! He had so much fun playing with all his new toys after the party!

Thanksgiving 2024!

Thanksgiving Day was so nice this year—we had it over at Allison’s house and her newly renovated kitchen looks so good!! It was a gorgeous day and we ate outside in her backyard! We really enjoyed everyone and visiting together. Robin got here last night. Megan and Todd are also staying at our house with the boys so tonight they let Luke stay up a bit and watch Bluey outside... then the littles went to bed an we all watched Fly Me to the Moon, which was a really good movie about the moon landing in 1969 and the many obstacles they faced. Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon the DAY I was born! It was a really good movie and funny too! It was a really nice day!!

 

First Bonfire and S'more Roast in the New Firepit!

This was super fun tonight and EVERYONE is HOME!!! It is so fun to all be together-- I love it!! We had a lot of fun roasting marshmallows and making s'mores tonight and laughing at all the funny things... like dad putting all the skewers in the fire so when Brooke laid her skewer down on the table, it melted a skewer shape into it!! Hahahaha! We laughed a lot tonight and that felt good! The boys really loved it too!

Lukey Turns Three... & Logan is Eight Months Old!

We had our family dinner together tonight and Megan brought a cake to sing to Luke since it's his birthday TODAY!!! He is officially 3. He's having his birthday party this coming Saturday, so he'll get to have TWO cakes-- an angel food cake tonight and a Picacho cake then! That's good planning!! He really enjoyed his piece of cake tonight! We sang happy birthday to him and he (and Grandpa) blew out his candles. Logan also turned 8 months-- so crazy that he's already 8 months old! Megan took these pictures this morning-- probably before church, I'm guessing...They are both so photogenic! I love my grandboys!!
