Hiking Thunderbird Mtn. and a Refreshing Swim!

It's warming up in Arizona! Megan and Todd invited us on a hike at Thunderbird Mtn. this morning and afterward everyone cooled off in the pool! It was a beautiful morning!!

Katelyn's Mission Pictures @ the Temple and in the Desert!

Katelyn and I had so much fun this afternoon taking these pictures at the temple and out in the desert up by West Wing Mountain! We got to the desert just as the sun was setting-- the golden hour! We got some cool sunset pictures! I took them on Katelyn's camera and then she edited them. I really like taking pictures...

A Belated but Fun Birthday Celebration for Brooke!

We celebrated Brooke's birthday as a family tonight at the Cheesecake Factory where we enjoyed a nice dinner together!  After, we continued the party at Megan and Todd's house with cake and a funny game of Mafia! It was a lot of FUN!!

 

Almost There!

They are making progress on this backfill and are almost to the top!!!

 

Crazy Hair & Avocados!

This cuteness was on Megan's Instagram story today! Luke loves food-- especially avocados! The hair is so fun too!!

 

Backfilling!

The process of backfilling is slow! They put the dirt in, pound it and then wait and repeat again the next day. They also use water to compact it down, but they can't fill it too much at a time or it will crack our walls! The green lines on the walls are some kind of markers for their progress.
