Trip to Utah...Hiking Mt. Timpanogos!

Ever since I was a student at BYU, I've always wanted to do this hike!  Bucket list item checked off TODAY!  We had fun doing this hike to the caves with the Rasmussens.  It was a very FUN day and fun to be in Provo with Megan for the week of July 24th.  She didn't have classes today, so she could go with us!  It was a beautiful day and a more difficult hike than I expected... it ascends quite quickly and is very steep the whole way up!  But we enjoyed being together and talking and visiting the whole way up.  Becky is a lot of fun and our kids all got along GREAT!  Tia and Megan had a good time catching up too!

Girls Camp!

Brooke's 4th year of camp and Katelyn's first year of camp!  They're going to have so much fun! This year the Stake went to a campground near Mt. Lemon instead of Camp LoMia.  They camped in tents instead of cabins-- both my girls LOVED it and had great experiences.  Brooke came home especially touched spiritually from camp and told me about it later.  I love Girls Camp and wish that I could've been a part of it.  Next year!!!!

Brooke's 4th Year Pack-In

Cute Brooke before the 4th Year Pack-In!  She's all ready to go!  They hiked Mt. Humphries up in Flagstaff and had a great time!  It is a difficult hike, but Brooke absolutely LOVED it!

Full Rainbow On My Morning Run...

I went outside to run this morning and found this!  I went back inside to get my camera... A FULL RAINBOW!  It's hard to see it in this picture but it was beautiful!  Great way to start a Monday morning run!

4th of July Fireworks!

We had fun watching the fireworks in the Wal-Mart parking lot that were being shot off from the Peoria Sports Complex.  It was a warm, but fun night!
